Description

The ballast features dim and boost functions, giving you the ability to control the light output from your lamp to your plants. There are two dimmable options (250w & 400w) and a ‘super-lumens’ boost option (600w+Boost) which is on average a 10% increase in output. We recommend using a 600w lamp for 600w dimmer settings, a 400w lamp for 400w dimmer settings and a 250w lamp for 250w dimmer settings. Never boost a lower wattage lamp to a higher lamp setting. It can take up to 10 mintutes to ignite a lamp depending on the type and age of the lamp you are using. Set the dimmer know to 100% power for your chosen lamp first. Once the unit has warmed up (after 10 – 15 mins) you can adjust power.
